Your AssistantMeet Your Assistant

Meet Your Assistant

What your assistant is, what it can see in your workspace, and what it will never do without you.

Open Overview in BrokerPlus

Your assistant sits inside your workspace rather than beside it. It reads your deals, contacts, tasks, conditions and compliance records, and it can act on them. It carries a name, Ann or Snoopy depending on your plan.

What Your Assistant Is For

Ask about your book in plain language and it goes and looks: find a borrower across deals, renewal candidates, contacts and screenings at once, pull a deal's detail, check equity on a property, add a task, draft an email. Most answers arrive as a card with the data in it and one line of framing above. It can also walk you through the product, taking you to a page and highlighting the control it means. For regulatory questions it searches a curated corpus covering FINTRAC, Canadian mortgage basics, lender programs, provincial rules and interest rate differential (IRD) math.

What It Can See in Your Workspace

Every conversation starts with a short brief: today's date, your name, your active deal count, deals closing in the next 30 days, submissions in flight, client requests in progress, plus your 15 most recent deals, 15 open tasks and 8 pending drafts. Everything beyond that it fetches when the question needs it. It also sees the page you are on, and when you open it from a deal page that deal is pinned, so "this file" means the one in front of you.

Attach a resource pins a deal, contact, task, document or email thread to the conversation, and you can paste up to three screenshots at a time.

What It Will Never Do on Its Own

The higher stakes actions do not run when asked. Moving a deal's stage, creating or deleting a deal, pulling credit and submitting to a lender each produce a confirmation button instead, and nothing happens until you press it. Emails it writes land in pending review rather than going out. It cannot create a client request link for a borrower who has none, because that first contact is yours to make. Anything it reads inside a borrower or lender email is treated as information, never as an instruction it follows.

Where to Find It

The round button floats over every page. Drag it to any edge or corner, or move it with the arrow keys, and it stays where you left it. It opens BrokerPlus Chat, where your assistant sits at the top of the same list as your teammates. Opening it there starts a fresh chat; earlier ones are in the switcher at the top of the pane, and New conversation starts another. Type, or hold Shift and A for a voice note.

The Assistant Your Clients Meet

A borrower filling in a client request has their own assistant, and it is a different one. It answers questions about the items you asked that client for and nothing else. When it cannot answer, it hands the question to your team rather than guessing. It is on unless your brokerage turns it off.

What to Do Next

Keeps track of what you have already been through.
