When you write and send a refinance, renewal or lead message yourself, Pulse can quietly follow it with a nudge if the client never replies. That is different from an automation firing on its own. It is a trail left behind your own send, and you decide on it each time you send.
Turn Them On When You Send
The email composer and the text composer both carry an Automated follow-ups switch beside the send button. Turn it on and the client, or everyone in a bulk send, gets follow-ups if they do not reply. The line under the switch names the days they go out. The switch starts off every time you open the composer, so one client you chose to follow up with never quietly carries over to the next. There is no setting anywhere else to turn on first.
What Trails a Message You Sent Yourself
A manual send is grouped into one of three lanes by the deal itself, not by the board you sent it from: refinance, renewal or leads. Each lane has its own follow-up copy, by email or by text, and a named template can override the copy of any step. The follow-ups count their days from when your original message actually went out, so a scheduled send starts its clock when it sends.
Stop Them for One Client
Each follow-up is drafted for you to approve, so nothing goes out until you have seen it in the Pulse queue. Dismiss one there to cancel that message. To make sure a client never gets another follow-up, add them to the block list, which skips them from every automation you choose, follow-ups included.
What to Do Next
- Skip a Client From an Automation when one person should hear from you but never from a follow-up.
- Review the Pulse Queue to see a follow-up before it goes out.
- See Everything Running Automatically to check what else is sending on its own.
