Discuss a Task With Your Team

Leave an internal note on a task, and pull a teammate in by name.

Open Tasks in BrokerPlus

A task's own Details field is for what needs doing. Its Notes section is for talking about it, the running conversation your team leaves behind as the work moves along, and it never reaches a borrower.

Leaving a note on a task, mentioning a teammate, and where that mention lands for them.

Adding an Internal Note

Open a task and scroll to Notes. Type into the composer and post it. The note is stamped with your name and the time, and it stays with the task for as long as the task exists. A note BrokerPlus wrote on its own carries an icon and a label so nobody mistakes it for something a person typed.

Mentioning a Teammate

Type @ in the composer to search people who can actually see this task, the members of the team the task belongs to. Pick a name and post the note. The mentioned teammate gets an in-app alert that opens straight to this task, so they land on the note rather than a list they have to search through. If the first alert cannot go out, a follow-up pass checks every few minutes and delivers it once it can.

Replying, Reacting, and Pinning

Click Reply under a note to answer it directly. A reply can only answer a root note, not another reply, so a thread stays one level deep and easy to follow. React with an emoji to acknowledge a note without adding a line underneath it.

Pin a note to keep it at the top of the list, useful for the one fact everyone opening this task should see first, like which lender is holding the file up. Pinning does not count as an edit, so it never touches the note's "last edited" time.

You can edit or delete your own notes. You cannot edit or delete a teammate's note, and nobody can edit or delete one BrokerPlus posted.

Who Can See a Task Note

A task note is scoped to the task's team, the same people who can already open the task. Moving a task between teams is rare, but when it happens a reply stays attached to whichever team its parent note belongs to, so a thread can never end up split across two audiences. Nothing in this section is ever visible to a client, whatever channel they use to reach you.
