What Time Saved Counts

See what the figure at the top of your overview counts, and what it deliberately does not.

Open Overview in BrokerPlus

The split-flap counter across the top of Overview is a running total of minutes you have not had to spend, since the day you started. It only moves in one direction unless something it counted turns out to be wrong, and it only counts what it can actually prove.

What the Ticker Is Counting

The number is yours alone. It totals every minute banked to your user, not your brokerage, so a busy teammate never inflates your figure and a quiet week never drags it down. Selecting See Where Your Time Went opens the full breakdown: a total, a category ring, and a list of the individual actions behind it, each with a plain-language reason for its weight.

Work That Only Counts Once You Accept It

Anything you could reject only banks time once you accept it, and reverses if you undo it. A drafted email banks nothing until you approve and send it; if you had rewritten it instead, nothing was ever saved. A condition an upload auto-satisfied banks time on that clearance, and gives it back if you reopen the condition, because reopening it means the clearance was wrong. Crediting the moment something was generated, rather than the moment you kept it, would let a worse assistant post a bigger number just by producing more drafts.

Some actions bank as soon as the work completes rather than waiting on a decision, because there was nothing to accept or reject: an inbox message classified, a document filed with no review needed, call notes written to the file. And some things bank nothing at all. A document routed to manual review, a screening you triggered yourself, spam sorted out of your inbox: all zero, because the work still landed on you or was never unattended in the first place.

Where Your Time Went, by Category

The breakdown groups every banked minute into one of six categories: Data Entry, Client Communication, Document Work, Follow-ups and Tasks, Client Intake, and Compliance. Opening a category lists the specific actions inside it, how many times each ran, and its rationale, so the total is auditable rather than a single opaque figure.

Deal Equivalents and Start to Submission

Two figures translate minutes into something closer to your week. Deal Equivalent Capacity divides your banked hours by the planning hours a deal typically takes, so you can read the total as roughly how many extra deals that time could cover. Start to Submission tracks the median days from opening a deal to its first lender submission, alongside your personal best month, once you have enough submitted deals for the median to mean anything.

Where You Could Save Next

The breakdown closes with a short list of setup gaps particular to you: an unconnected calendar or email, no phone number configured, deals sitting without a client-facing request. Each one names roughly how much time is on the table based on your recent activity, and links straight to where you would fix it.
