Bring Your Book Across From the Earlier BrokerPlus

Pull your clients, mortgages and connected inbox across from the earlier BrokerPlus in one pass, and know what stays behind.

  • Owner/Admin
  • Solo Broker

If you already ran your book on the earlier version of BrokerPlus, you don't have to start over on mos. The setup wizard's import step offers a one-time sync that proves you own that older account, then pulls your clients, mortgages and one connected inbox into your new workspace, alongside your older account rather than replacing it.

When You'd Use This

Use this when setting up a brand new mos account and you already have a working account on the earlier BrokerPlus with real clients and deals on it. It's built for a broker bringing their own book across, not for pulling in a colleague's data or a brokerage moving its whole team at once.

Starting the Sync

On the import step of setup, select Already on BrokerPlus? Sync your existing data. Your email is filled in for you, since it has to match the account you sign in to mos with. Enter your older BrokerPlus password and select Find My Data.

That step proves your login against the older BrokerPlus's own authentication, not your mos session. Mos never sees or stores that password; it hands your email and password to the older system, which verifies them and returns a short-lived receipt. On success, you land on Found Your Book, listing your client and mortgage count, invitable teammates, and whether an inbox is connected. Select Bring It Across to pull, or Not Now to back out unchanged.

What Actually Comes Across

Everything lands on you, the broker who signed in. Whatever the older system recorded about who a client or deal belonged to is set aside: only your entries and their history come in, all on your board here. A teammate who joins mos later starts with an empty pipeline.

Exactly one email inbox comes across too: the one connected to your matching account on the older system, or its shared mailbox if that brokerage had only a single active user. Mos reconnects it and backfills your recent mail, since your read position doesn't carry over.

If you're already paying for a subscription on the older BrokerPlus, mos recognizes that and won't offer you a second one, so your card isn't charged twice.

What Stays Behind

This sync doesn't carry over documents attached to deals still marked as originations on the older system. Those stay where they are.

It also doesn't touch the older account itself - nothing is switched off or redirected there. This differs from the full brokerage cutover BrokerPlus runs for a firm moving its whole team, which does eventually redirect the old workspace. Your older BrokerPlus keeps working as before, so anyone still using it is uninterrupted.

What To Watch Out For

Only one pull runs at a time. Selecting Bring It Across again while one is running just reattaches you to it instead of starting a second one.

If a sync doesn't finish, nothing already brought across is undone. Anything unreadable is called out by count, left on your older account, so you can retry without duplicating what landed.

The password box only accepts the email you use on mos, so it can't pull someone else's book, even with permission. Suggested teammates here are just suggestions for later; nothing sends an invite on its own.

What to Do Next

Keeps track of what you have already been through.
