The Finances overview is the hub for everything BrokerPlus knows about your money: what has actually landed, what you are still owed, and what is on its way. Every figure on it is computed from your own funded deals and recorded commission, never a borrower-facing or regulated number.
When You'd Use This
Open this page whenever you need a straight answer to "how is the business doing right now": at month end, before a goals conversation, or any time a headline number looks off and you want to see it in context.
The Four Money States
A stat rail at the top of the page reads left to right as money moves toward you:
- Collected - commission that has actually been paid out.
- Receivable - earned but not yet collected. If any of it is past its expected payout date, the card shows the count and links straight to your receivables list.
- In Pipeline - the estimated revenue sitting in deals still open.
- In The Book - the wider opportunity value across your book.
These four states are the same ledger the receivables page reads, so a dollar here and a dollar there can never disagree.
Your Headline Figures
Below the money rail sit four period metrics: Funded Volume (with average deal size), Revenue (net of clawbacks, with any bought-down amount called out separately), Deals Funded (with the number submitted), and Conversion, the share of submitted deals that funded. Each carries a comparison delta once you turn one on.
Choosing A Period And A Comparison
Select This Month, This Quarter, Year To Date, or Custom to set the window every figure on this page reads from. Turn on Prior Period or Last Year beside it to see a percentage change on the headline figures; a change measured off a zero base reads as new rather than an impossible percentage.
Revenue And Volume By Month
The trend chart plots either revenue or funded volume across your selected period, one month at a time, with a toggle to switch between them. A month with nothing funded shows as a gap in the line rather than being hidden, so a quiet stretch is visible instead of erased.
What Is Maturing Over The Next Two Years
The maturity ladder is a forward-looking chart, not scoped to your selected period: it shows the balance of mortgages coming up for renewal each month over the next 24 months, regardless of what window you have chosen above it.
When The Page Is Empty
If you have no funded deals and nothing collected or receivable yet, the page shows a plain empty state instead of a wall of zeros, and tells you what fills it in: fund a deal and record its commission.
