The side menu ships in the order most brokers use it, but it is not fixed. Drag any row, section or gap to put the surfaces you open daily at the top.
Start Reordering
- Open Profile settings and find the Appearance card.
- Choose Side Menu Order.
If your sidebar was collapsed, it expands for you. On a phone or narrow screen it opens the menu drawer instead, since that is where reordering happens on a small screen. The search box at the top of the menu is replaced by a Reorder Menu strip with a Done button, and every row becomes draggable. Choose Done at any point to leave reorder mode; nothing about the search box or your normal menu changes once you do.
Drag Rows, Sections and Gaps
Grab anywhere on a row, standalone item or section, and drag it up or down. A section moves as one block, so its items travel with it rather than being reordered individually. The gap that separates your everyday surfaces from the rest also drags like any other row, so you can move that boundary too, promoting something like Business above it makes it a daily surface instead of a secondary one.
Reordering also works from the keyboard: tab to a row, then use the arrow keys to lift and move it, the same as dragging with a mouse.
Hiding a surface from your view is a separate thing from where it sits in the order. A section a persona cannot see, or one your brokerage has turned off for your team, keeps its place in your stored order even while it is hidden, so it reappears in the right spot if your access changes later.
Where the Order Is Saved
Your order saves automatically as you drag, no button to press. It is written to your own BrokerPlus profile, not just to the browser you are using, so it follows your account: sign in on another computer or another browser and your side menu is already in the order you built. A small cookie also keeps a local copy so the menu paints in your order instantly on the next cold load, before your profile has finished loading, but your profile is what actually holds it.
This is a personal setting. Reordering your menu does not change what a teammate or a brokerage admin sees on theirs, and nobody can set an order for your account but you.
Reset to the Default Order
While reorder mode is open, choose Reset to Default Order beneath the list. This puts every row, section and the gap back to the order BrokerPlus ships, and saves that as your new order the same way a drag does. There is no separate confirmation step, so only choose it if you are ready to start over.
