Settings > Sync says what BrokerPlus is mirroring, how current it is, and which of your edits travel back out. Velocity and Finmo each get their own card, because the two connections do not promise the same thing.
What Each Rail Actually Does
Velocity mirrors your deals from the last five years and keeps them current. Changes you make in BrokerPlus stay in BrokerPlus, because Velocity publishes no way to send them back, so anything that has to reach the lender is still changed in Velocity.
Finmo runs both ways. You start the first import; Finmo's changes then reach BrokerPlus on their own. A deal you start in BrokerPlus goes over to Finmo on its own. An imported deal keeps updating, and starts sending once you push that one deal across.
Connect a Rail
- Open Settings > Sync and press Connect Velocity or Connect Finmo on the card you want.
- For Velocity, create an API key in your own Velocity settings and paste it into API key. The key belongs to you rather than to your brokerage, so each agent connects their own. Leave Environment on Production unless you were handed a sandbox key.
- For Finmo, create an API token for your brokerage in Finmo and paste it into API token. Nothing moves until you start an import.
- On a connected Velocity card, use Copy beside Webhook url and paste that address into Velocity yourself.
The webhook is a real step
Velocity offers no way to register that address for you. Skip it and nothing breaks, but deal status stops updating on its own.
Pull Your Book In
Press Import my book. The card reads Importing while your deals are being read, then offers Review import. Nothing is added to your book until you confirm there. Once an import has finished, the card says new changes arrive on their own from here.
Check Velocity Now
BrokerPlus re-reads a Velocity deal hourly while its status is moving, every six hours when it is quiet, and weekly once it is funded or cancelled. New Velocity deals are looked for hourly.
Press Sync Now on the Velocity card to ask for both reads at once. Changes appear as each deal is read. A deal new to BrokerPlus is added directly, because you approved your Velocity deals when you imported.
Read the Sync Figures
Deals linked counts the deals tied to that rail. Last pull is the oldest read among the live links, so it tells you how stale the least recently checked deal is, and reads "not yet" before the first pull. Three badges appear only when they apply: paused deals, deals not reaching the provider, and deals never read.
When Deals Are Held Before Going to Finmo
When far more deals appear at once than a person would create by hand, the sweep sends none of them and files a request at the top of this page. An admin on your brokerage presses Send N to Finmo to release them. Anything already in Finmo is left alone, and deals you imported are never sent back.
Disconnect a Rail
Press Disconnect, then confirm. Nothing is deleted. Your linked deals are paused rather than cut, so reconnecting picks the same deals back up instead of importing your book a second time. Velocity issues a fresh webhook address on reconnect, so copy and paste the new one.
