A meeting type is one bookable offer on your link: a discovery call, a renewal review, a signing appointment. A client picks from the types you publish on the Booking tab.

4:42When You'd Use This
Set this up when you want something specific to offer - a single "30-Minute Call," or several types (intake, renewal, signing) with their own length and rules. Come back when a meeting runs too tight, clients book with too little warning, or you want to ask something first.
Create a Meeting Type
Under Meeting Types, click New, name it and set a duration. Each row's On/Off switch takes a type down without deleting it or losing its link and history.

The Knobs
Most of this lives under Advanced Options, collapsed by default so the form opens on name, duration, location and color first, and the scheduling machinery waits until asked.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Duration | 5 to 480 minutes. |
| Location | A preset (call, Meet, Zoom, Teams, in person) or free text. No auto-generated link. |
| Color | Tints this type's calendar events. |
| Start-time interval | How far apart bookable start times are, independent of duration. |
| Buffer | Padding held on both sides of a booking. |
| Minimum notice | How close to start time someone can still book. |
| Bookable up to | Days out the type is open (7 to 90). |
| Reminders | Up to five, each a preset offset before the meeting. |
| Reminder channel | Email, text, or both. Text needs a phone number. |
| Intake questions | Short-text or multiple-choice, each optionally required. |
| Availability | This type's own window, or your general hours by default. |
Start-Time Interval vs. Buffer
Interval decides where offered start times land: at the meeting-length default a 30-minute meeting offers 9:00, 9:30, 10:00; at 15 minutes it offers 9:00, 9:15, 9:30. Buffer decides what happens around a booking once made, blocking time on both sides so back-to-back meetings never touch.
Minimum notice stops someone booking your 2:00pm at 1:58; bookable-up-to caps the far end so your calendar isn't open months out for a type booked a week ahead. A custom value keeps its own slot instead of resetting.
Ask Questions and Set Availability
Intake questions appear on the booking page and again on the confirmation, so answers travel with the meeting. Common starters - what the client hopes to accomplish, the property address, whether they're pre-approved - are one-tap chips.
Every meeting type opens on your general weekly hours and stays tied to them, moving when you update your hours. Click Availability on a type's row for its own narrower window, say signings only Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. The editor flags changed days; matching it back exactly returns the type to following your hours automatically.
Someone booking picks an open time, answers any intake questions, and confirms, landing on a confirmation screen with a management link (reschedule or cancel) that rides along in every reminder you've turned on.
Common Gotchas
- Turning every meeting type off leaves your booking link with nothing to offer, though the link still resolves.
- A type with no calendar connected can still be booked, since availability defaults to your set hours: connect it first so conflicts block slots.
- Requiring text reminders makes the phone field mandatory, which can cost a booking from someone unwilling to share a number.
What to Do Next
- Set Up Your Booking Link if you haven't published a handle yet.
- Use Your Calendar to manage bookings that land.
- Turn On the Meeting Notetaker to record and recap booked calls.
