Your calendar is not a separate connection. It arrives with your mailbox, and once it is in you decide which of its calendars show on the grid, what colour each one takes, and whether reminders sit on top.

4:42Calendars Arrive With the Mailbox
When you connect a mailbox, the What to connect question has two answers, and Calendar is the second one. Tick it and your meetings sync to your calendar and to your booking availability. Leave it unticked and nothing about your days comes in.
Once the connection is live, every calendar on that account is discovered and switched on. Your primary calendar keeps a fixed colour and the rest take palette colours in a stable order, so the same calendar looks the same every time the list is rebuilt.
No calendars in the list
If the panel says no calendars were found on the connected account, the mailbox connected without calendar access. Reconnect it to grant that access. If it asks you to connect a mailbox in settings, there is no connection yet.
Choose Which Calendars Appear
Open the calendar and use the gear, Calendar settings. The panel lists everything under Calendars, split into My calendars and Other calendars. Each row has a switch. Turning one off removes its events from every view; turning it back on triggers a fresh sync, so the events you missed are pulled back in.
A calendar you can see but not write to is marked Read only. Calendars you subscribed to in your mail provider usually land here. Their events show on the grid as free when the switch is on, and they do not close a slot on your booking link until you ask them to, the same way your mail provider leaves you free during them. When one of them is real time you are not free, such as a family schedule, switch it on under Calendars That Block Booking on the Booking tab.
Set a Colour Per Calendar
Click the small swatch at the left of a row to open the palette, then pick a colour. It applies straight away and tints that calendar's events wherever they appear, including its column header in Day view when more than one calendar is on.
Show Closings and Reminders on the Grid
Under Overlays, the Reminders switch puts task due dates on the grid. It is off by default and switching it is instant. Deal closing dates are always drawn and have no switch. Neither is a real calendar entry: both are read live from your deals and tasks, so they never drift from the record they came from.
Where teammates have blocks in the week you are looking at, a Teammates group appears with a switch per person, so you can fold someone's day away without changing what they share with you.
Hide a Calendar Without Disconnecting It
Switching a calendar off is a display and sync choice, not a disconnection. The account stays connected, your mail keeps flowing, and your booking availability still reads that account. Turn the switch back on whenever you want that calendar back.
