BrokerPlus can tell you when a client opens the email you sent them, and gives you three places to decide when that tracking is actually used.
What Open Tracking Adds to an Email
An email you send can carry a tiny invisible image. When the client's mail app loads it, BrokerPlus knows the message was opened and records when. Nothing about the email looks different to the person reading it.
Where an Open Shows Up
Open a message you sent and an Opened badge appears beside it once the pixel has fired. Hover over the badge for the exact date and time it happened.
Skip the First Email to Someone New
A first message to an address you have never written to before is the one most likely to get flagged as spam, and a spam complaint hurts your sending reputation more than a missed open ever could. The workspace setting Skip tracking for first email to someone new leaves the pixel out of that first message only; every email after it to the same address tracks normally, and you can still switch tracking back on for that first one yourself as you write it.
Turn Tracking Off for One Email
The tracking control beside the send button in the composer cycles between automatic, on and off for the message you are currently writing. Automatic means BrokerPlus decides using your workspace rules and the cold-contact protection above; choosing on or off overrides that for this one email only, and the control disappears entirely if tracking is off for the whole workspace.
Turn It Off for the Whole Workspace
Track when clients open your email lives in your email settings. Turn it off and BrokerPlus stops adding the pixel to anything you send from then on; opens it already recorded stay on the messages that earned them. On a team, your team's broker sets this and a member without that permission sees it locked to whatever was chosen.
