Read a Meeting Recap

Find the write-up from a call, and act on what was agreed.

Open Calendar in BrokerPlus

Every call the notetaker joins turns into a row on Calendar's Meetings tab, whether it joined on its own or you sent it there by hand. This is where the recording, the transcript, and the write-up all land once the call is over.

Where Recaps Live

Open Calendar and switch to the Meetings tab to see every call the notetaker has touched, newest first. Each row shows the call's title, its platform, and a status chip: Recording while it's still live, Processing once the call ends, and Ready once the write-up has landed. Select a row to open its detail panel; on a phone or narrow screen the panel opens as a full-screen sheet instead.

What a Recap Contains

The detail panel opens on the Recap tab. A call linked to a deal gets a summary written against that deal, with action items listed underneath wherever the transcript made a commitment clear. A call with no deal attached still gets its own plain write-up. Two more tabs sit alongside Recap: People, showing who talked and for how long, and Moments, a timestamped log of joins, leaves, and screen-share changes.

Watch or Search the Recording

A call recorded on video plays right inside the panel, and the speaker ribbon above it doubles as a map of who held the floor. Click a person's lane to jump to where they were speaking, or click a topic marker to jump straight to that part of the conversation. Open the Transcript tab to read every line with speaker labels attached, and search it to find a word or phrase without scrolling. Not every call has video: some meetings hand back a transcript with no recording at all, and the transcript still works the same way.

What Reaches Your Records on Its Own

Some of this happens without you touching anything. An attendee who already matches a contact in your CRM gets linked to the meeting automatically, and a call already tied to a deal writes its recap straight onto that deal. Where the conversation made a follow-up obvious, a task can get filed against it on your own book without you asking. What doesn't happen on its own is opening a brand-new deal: that step only ever gets queued for you to approve.

When a Meeting Produced Nothing

A call nobody spoke on, or one the notetaker only sat waiting for, still shows up as a row rather than vanishing, and says so plainly instead of looking stuck. A meeting held entirely among people at your own brokerage is marked internal rather than left with a blank recap, and one where nothing was transcribed says so instead of sitting on Processing forever. If you've left the recap email off, nothing in your inbox doesn't mean nothing happened; the write-up is waiting on the meeting's own row.
