Build a Lead Capture Form

Publish a form that files an enquiry straight into your leads.

Open Lead Forms in BrokerPlus

A lead capture form is the enquiry box on your website: a visitor fills it in, and their answer lands as a lead in BrokerPlus, ready to route and follow up on. Build one from the Lead Forms page, from a blank canvas or a template built for the enquiry you get most.

Starting From a Template

Press New Form and pick from the shelf: Start Blank for a name-and-email form you build up yourself, or a template already stocked with the questions a purchase, renewal, refinance, self-employed, investment or referral enquiry needs. Templates are grouped Start Here, Buying, Existing Mortgage, and Partners & Events, each naming its question and step count. A template is only a starting point - once your form is created from it, it's yours to reshape, and editing it afterwards never reaches back to change the template.

Adding and Ordering Questions

The canvas shows the form the way a visitor will see it. Hover between any two questions for an Add Here rail, or use Add Question at the bottom. Drag a question's handle to reorder it, or select it and use the arrow keys. Duplicate a question you want to repeat with a tweak, or delete one you don't need. First name and email are locked onto every form: they're what turns a submission into a lead you can contact, so neither can be removed or made optional.

The Question Types

Pick the type from the panel on the right: plain text, a paragraph, email, phone, pick-one, pick-many, a number, a dollar figure, a date, yes/no, or a lender field that suggests names from your lender list without forcing a match - a lender you don't carry is still a real answer. Add a hint underneath a question for the extra line a visitor needs to answer well, and mark a question required only when you genuinely need it; every required question costs you a share of finishers.

Splitting a Form Over Steps

A long form finishes better broken into steps. Add a step break after any question and give the new step its own short title - About You, Your Plans. A visitor sees one step at a time with a progress label, and a step whose only questions have been branched away is skipped automatically rather than showing empty. A question can also be made conditional, so it only appears once an earlier answer calls for it, keeping a short form short for most visitors while a curious one still sees the follow-up.

Previewing and Turning It Live

Preview shows the form as a visitor will meet it, so check it there first. A form stays a private draft until you flip the Live switch in the top bar - the only step that actually publishes it. Once live, Open takes you to the public page and Copy Link hands you the address to send or paste anywhere. The fixed line above the submit button, about agreeing to be contacted, isn't marketing consent - a plain submission still doesn't add anyone to a mailing list.
