Every colour, font and logo you pick in Canvas repaints a row of live previews before you touch Save. Check a change against the surfaces it actually reaches, then commit to it with confidence instead of guessing.

2:45What the Widgets Above Are
The cards sitting above the brand controls in Canvas are live previews, not screenshots. Each one repaints the moment you change a colour, a font or your logo, using the exact values in your current draft. Drag through them or use the arrow keys to bring one into focus.
The Surfaces You Can Check
The carousel covers the client portal, the status hub a borrower lands on, a debt consolidation email, an equity report email, a booking confirmation, a meeting recap, your email signature, a PDF cover page, a feature sheet, a report PDF, a mortgage plan and a business report. Most cards are a compact mock built at sample scale so a lot fits on screen at once. Anywhere you see an Expand button, that card opens a genuinely full-size render of the real page instead of a miniature.
What Saves at Once and What Waits
Your logo saves the moment you upload it, there's no separate step. Everything else you touch in Canvas, primary and secondary colours, heading, body and email fonts, your business name, and your personal fields like name, title, phone, website, booking link and signature, stays a draft the previews reflect immediately. Nothing reaches a client until you confirm it with Save changes in the bar at the bottom of the screen.
Discarding an Unsaved Change
The same bar carries a Discard button whenever something is unsaved. It reverts every pending field at once, back to whatever was last actually saved, there's no partial undo of just the colour or just the signature. Navigating away from Canvas while that bar still reads unsaved changes does the same thing silently, with no prompt to confirm, so treat that bar as your only save point.
Why a Preview Can Differ From the Sent Document
A mock preview card uses representative sample numbers and a scaled-down layout, so the shape and the brand ink are accurate but the figures on it are not your client's real numbers, that's what the full-size expanded render is for. If you're editing a team's own brand rather than the brokerage default, the carousel also only shows the scope you currently have selected, so flip between "Your team" and "Brokerage default" to check both before you save either.
Common Gotchas
Report titles and section headers always render in the house face in these previews, even while you're picking a different heading font, that's by design, not a stale preview. If a report preview's title doesn't move when you change the heading font, that font is only meant to reach the headline figures below it.
